The Nun 3 – Sister Irene
In 2018, many horror fans went into The Nun without realizing it was part of the larger Conjuring universe. While the franchise’s timeline can be a bit complex, the beauty lies in the fact that you don't need to be an expert to enjoy its spin-offs. So if you had a good time watching the original, you can dive into The Nun II without missing a beat.
The sequel brings back Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), who once again confronts the terrifying demon Valak (Bonnie Aarons). Packed with suspense and supernatural scares, The Nun II ties up most of the loose ends. Still, devoted fans of the Conjuring universe suspect there’s more to the story—and are hopeful that a potential third film could finally solidify the connection between The Nun films and the main series.
Given the massive success of The Conjuring franchise, there’s little reason to think the flow of spin-offs will slow down anytime soon.
